<p class="poetry">Even though his stature<n id="1" /> reaches to the heavensp> <p class="poetry">and his head touches the clouds,p>

<p class="poetry">Thick clouds are a veil for him, so he does not see us,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">as he goes back and forthp> <p class="poetry">in the vault<n id="2" /> of heaven.&#8217;<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">By his breath<n id="1" /> the skies became fair;p> <p class="poetry">his hand pierced the fleeing serpent.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">For<n id="1" /> it has been hiddenp> <p class="poetry">from the eyes of every living creature,p> <p class="poetry">and from the birds of the sky it has been concealed.p>

<p class="poetry">Gaze at the heavens and see;p> <p class="poetry">consider the clouds, which are higher than you!<n id="1" />p>

<p class="poetry">Under the whole heaven he lets it go,p> <p class="poetry">even his lightning to the far corners<n id="1" /> of the earth.p>

<p class="poetry">From whose womb does the ice emerge,p> <p class="poetry">and the frost from the sky,<n id="1" /> who gives birth to it,p>

<p class="poetry">Do you know the laws of the heavens,p> <p class="poetry">or can you set up their rule over the earth?p>

<p class="poetry">Who by wisdom can count the clouds,p> <p class="poetry">and who can tip over<n id="1" /> the water jars of heaven,p>

<p class="poetry">so man lies down and does not rise;p> <p class="poetry">until the heavens are no more,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">they<n id="2" /> will not awakep> <p class="poetry">nor arise from their sleep.p>

<p class="poetry">&#8220;Is not God on high in heaven?<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">And see<n id="2" /> the lofty stars,<n id="3" /> how high they are!p>

<p class="poetry">For he looks to the ends of the earthp> <p class="poetry">and observes everything under the heavens.p>
