<p class="poetry">Yet he took notice of their distress,p> <p class="poetry">when he heard their cry for help.p>

<p class="poetry">Listen to me<n id="1" /> because of<n id="2" /> your loyal love!p> <p class="poetry">O <sc>Lordsc>, revive me, as you typically do!<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">Look, we heard about it<n id="1" /> in Ephrathah,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">we found it in the territory of Jaar.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">The <sc>Lordsc> has heard my appeal for mercy;p> <p class="poetry">the <sc>Lordsc> has accepted<n id="1" /> my prayer.p>

<p class="poetry"><sc>Lordsc>, you have heard<n id="1" /> the request<n id="2" /> of the oppressed;p> <p class="poetry">you make them feel secure because you listen to their prayer.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">There is no actual speech or word,p> <p class="poetry">nor is its<n id="1" /> voice literally heard.p>

<p class="poetry">Hear, O <sc>Lordsc>, and have mercy on me!p> <p class="poetry">O <sc>Lordsc>, deliver me!&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

<p class="poetry">I will boast<n id="1" /> in the <sc>Lordsc>;p> <p class="poetry">let the oppressed hear and rejoice!<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">Come children! Listen to me!p> <p class="poetry">I will teach you what it means to fear the <sc>Lordsc>.<n id="1" />p>

<p class="poetry">The godly<n id="1" /> cry out and the <sc>Lordsc> hears;p> <p class="poetry">he saves them from all their troubles.<n id="2" />p>
