<p class="bodytext">When Moses heard it he fell down with his face to the ground.<n id="1" />

and her husband hears about it, but remains silent about her when he hears about it, then her vows will stand and her obligations which she has pledged for herself will stand.

Moses said to Korah, &#8220;Listen now, you sons of Levi!

Then you must delegate<n id="1" /> some of your authority<n id="2" /> to him, so that the whole community of the Israelites will be obedient.<n id="3" />

But if he should nullify them after he has heard them, then he will bear her iniquity.&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

The king of Arad, the Canaanite king who lived in the south of the land of Canaan, heard about the approach of the Israelites.p>

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">Moses heard the people weeping<n id="2" /> throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and when the anger of the <sc>Lordsc> was kindled greatly, Moses was also displeased.<n id="3" />

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc><n id="1" /> said, &#8220;Hear now my words: If there is a prophet among you,<n id="2" /> I the <sc>Lordsc><n id="3" /> will make myself known to him in a vision; I will speak with him in a dream.

<p class="bodytext">Moses said to the <sc>Lordsc>, &#8220;When the Egyptians hear<n id="1" /> it &#8211; for you brought up this people by your power from among them &#8211;

If you kill<n id="1" /> this entire people at once,<n id="2" /> then the nations that have heard of your fame will say,

&#8220;How long must I bear<n id="1" /> with this evil congregation<n id="2" /> that murmurs against me? I have heard the complaints of the Israelites that they murmured against me.

So when we cried to the <sc>Lordsc>, he heard our voice and sent a messenger,<n id="1" /> and has brought us up out of Egypt. Now<n id="2" /> we are here in Kadesh, a town on the edge of your country.<n id="3" />

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">When the Canaanite king of Arad<n id="2" /> who lived in the Negev<n id="3" /> heard that Israel was approaching along the road to Atharim, he fought against Israel and took some of them prisoner.p>

The <sc>Lordsc> listened to the voice of Israel and delivered up the Canaanites,<n id="1" /> and they utterly destroyed them and their cities. So the name of the place was called<n id="2" /> Hormah.p>
