<p class="poetry">He will give discernment to the one who makes judicial decisions,p> <p class="poetry">and strength to those who defend the city from attackers.<n id="1" />p>

<p class="poetry">those who bear false testimony against a person,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">who entrap the one who arbitrates at the city gate<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">and deprive the innocent of justice by making false charges.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">&#8220;I thought,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">&#8216;In the middle of my life<n id="2" /> I must walk through the gates of Sheol,p> <p class="poetry">I am deprived<n id="3" /> of the rest of my years.&#8217;p>

<p class="poetry">I will make your pinnacles out of gems,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">your gates out of beryl,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">and your outer wall<n id="3" /> out of beautiful<n id="4" /> stones.p>

<p class="poetry">Wail, O city gate!p> <p class="poetry">Cry out, O city!p> <p class="poetry">Melt with fear,<n id="1" /> all you Philistines!p> <p class="poetry">For out of the north comes a cloud of smoke,p> <p class="poetry">and there are no stragglers in its ranks.<n id="2" />p>
