<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;You must not give<n id="2" /> a false report.<n id="3" /> Do not make common cause<n id="4" /> with the wicked<n id="5" /> to be a malicious<n id="6" /> witness.p>

But the <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Put out your hand and grab it by the tail&#8221; &#8211; so he put out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand<n id="1" /> &#8211;

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> also said to him, &#8220;Put your hand into your robe.&#8221;<n id="1" /> So he put his hand into his robe, and when he brought it out &#8211; there was his hand,<n id="2" /> leprous like snow!<n id="3" />

He said, &#8220;Put your hand back into your robe.&#8221; So he put his hand back into his robe, and when he brought it out from his robe &#8211; there it was,<n id="1" /> restored<n id="2" /> like the rest of his skin!<n id="3" />

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Extend your hand toward heaven<n id="2" /> so that there may be<n id="3" /> darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness so thick it can be felt.&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

And as for you,<n id="1" /> lift up your staff and extend your hand toward the sea and divide it, so that<n id="2" /> the Israelites may go through the middle of the sea on dry ground.

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Extend your hand toward the sea, so that the waters may flow<n id="1" /> back on the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen!&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> spoke to Moses, &#8220;Tell Aaron, &#8216;Extend your hand with your staff<n id="1" /> over the rivers, over the canals, and over the ponds, and bring the frogs up over the land of Egypt.&#8217;&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Then the <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Extend your hand toward the sky<n id="1" /> that there may be<n id="2" /> hail in all the land of Egypt, on people and on animals,<n id="3" /> and on everything that grows<n id="4" /> in the field in the land of Egypt.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Extend your hand over the land of Egypt for<n id="1" /> the locusts, that they may come up over the land of Egypt and eat everything that grows<n id="2" /> in the ground, everything that the hail has left.&#8221;

<n id="1" /> It<n id="2" /> will be a sign<n id="3" /> for you on your hand and a memorial<n id="4" /> on your forehead,<n id="5" /> so that the law of the <sc>Lordsc> may be<n id="6" /> in your mouth,<n id="7" /> for<n id="8" /> with a mighty hand the <sc>Lordsc> brought you out of Egypt.

Then the <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Tell Aaron, &#8216;Take your staff and stretch out your hand over Egypt&#8217;s waters &#8211; over their rivers, over their canals,<n id="1" /> over their ponds, and over all their reservoirs<n id="2" /> &#8211; so that it becomes<n id="3" /> blood.&#8217; There will be blood everywhere in<n id="4" /> the land of Egypt, even in wooden and stone containers.&#8221;
