<p class="bodytext">Joshua rewarded<n id="1" /> them and sent them on their way; they returned to their homes.<n id="2" />

<p class="poetry">He blessed<n id="1" /> them so that they became very numerous.p> <p class="poetry">He would not allow their cattle to decrease in number.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Then Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them and descended from making the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering.

So he blessed them that day, saying,p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;By you<n id="1" /> will Israel bless,<n id="2" /> saying,p> <p class="poetry">&#8216;May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.&#8217;&#8221;p> <p class="bodytext">So he put Ephraim before Manasseh.<n id="3" />p>
