<p class="poetry">As for me, I know that my Redeemer<n id="1" /> lives,p> <p class="poetry">and that as the last<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">he will stand upon the earth.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">But God<n id="1" /> drags off the mighty by his power;p> <p class="poetry">when God<n id="2" /> rises up against him, he has no faith in his life.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">Can his armies be numbered?<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">On whom does his light<n id="2" /> not rise?p>

<p class="poetry">He leans against his house but it does not hold up,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">he takes hold<n id="2" /> of it but it does not stand.p>

<p class="poetry">so man lies down and does not rise;p> <p class="poetry">until the heavens are no more,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">they<n id="2" /> will not awakep> <p class="poetry">nor arise from their sleep.p>

<p class="poetry">He will not grow rich,p> <p class="poetry">and his wealth will not endure,p> <p class="poetry">nor will his possessions<n id="1" /> spread over the land.p>

<p class="poetry">Before daybreak<n id="1" /> the murderer rises up;p> <p class="poetry">he kills the poor and the needy;p> <p class="poetry">in the night he is<n id="2" /> like a thief.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">then what will I do when God confronts me in judgment;<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">when he intervenes,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">how will I respond to him?p>
