On that day, when Gog invades<n id="1" /> the land of Israel, declares the sovereign <sc>Lordsc>, my rage will mount up in my anger.

In your days of majesty,<n id="1" /> was not Sodom your sister a byword in your mouth,

On that day a fugitive will come to you to report the news.<n id="1" />

As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will seek out my flock. I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a cloudy, dark day.<n id="1" />

As for your birth, on the day you were born your umbilical cord was not cut, nor were you washed in water;<n id="1" /> you were certainly not rubbed down with salt, nor wrapped with blankets.<n id="2" />

In my zeal, in the fire of my fury,<n id="1" /> I declare that on that day there will be a great earthquake<n id="2" /> in the land of Israel.
