<p class="poetry">I yearn for the Lord,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">more than watchmen do for the morning,p> <p class="poetry">yes, more than watchmen do for the morning.<n id="2" />p>

It was a night of vigil for the <sc>Lordsc> to bring them out from the land of Egypt,<n id="1" /> and so<n id="2" /> on this night all Israel is to keep the vigil<n id="3" /> to the <sc>Lordsc> for generations to come.p>

<p class="poetry">The <sc>Lordsc> who commands armies will hold a banquet for all the nations on this mountain.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">At this banquet there will be plenty of meat and aged wine &#8211;p> <p class="poetry">tender meat and choicest wine.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, and Akkub were gatekeepers who were guarding the storerooms at the gates.

<p class="bodytext">From Benjamin, Saul&#8217;s tribe,<n id="1" /> there were 3,000, most of whom, up to that time, had been loyal to Saul.<n id="2" />p>

&#8220;Therefore, I have caused you to be ignored and belittled before all people to the extent to which you are not following after me and are showing partiality in your<n id="1" /> instruction.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">But those who were to camp in front of the tabernacle on the east, in front of the tent of meeting, were Moses, Aaron,<n id="1" /> and his sons. They were responsible for the needs<n id="2" /> of the sanctuary and for the needs of the Israelites, but the unauthorized person who approached was to be put to death.

They offer burnt sacrifices to the <sc>Lordsc> every morning and every evening, along with fragrant incense. They arrange the Bread of the Presence on a ritually clean table and light the lamps on the gold lampstand every evening. Certainly<n id="1" /> we are observing the <sc>Lordsc> our God&#8217;s regulations, but you have rejected him.

Then I directed the Levites to purify themselves and come and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy.p> <p class="bodytext">For this please remember me, O my God, and have pity on me in keeping with your great love.p>

<p class="poetry">Give the signal to attack Babylon&#8217;s wall!<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">Bring more guards!<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">Post them all around the city!<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">Put men in ambush!<n id="4" />p> <p class="poetry">For the <sc>Lordsc> will do what he has planned.p> <p class="poetry">He will do what he said he would do to the people of Babylon.<n id="5" />p>
