<p class="poetry">Wisdom rests in the heart of the discerning;p> <p class="poetry">it is known<n id="1" /> even in the heart<n id="2" /> of fools.p>

<p class="poetry">The discerning heart seeks knowledge,p> <p class="poetry">but the mouth of fools feeds on folly.<n id="1" />p>

<p class="poetry">The one who is wise in heart<n id="1" /> is called<n id="2" /> discerning,p> <p class="poetry">and kind speech<n id="3" /> increases persuasiveness.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">Even a fool who remains silent is considered<n id="1" /> wise,p> <p class="poetry">and the one who holds his tongue is deemed discerning.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">The discerning person<n id="1" /> acquires knowledge,p> <p class="poetry">and the wise person<n id="2" /> seeks<n id="3" /> knowledge.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;So now Pharaoh should look<n id="1" /> for a wise and discerning man<n id="2" /> and give him authority<n id="3" /> over all the land of Egypt.

So Pharaoh said to Joseph, &#8220;Because God has enabled you to know all this, there is no one as wise and discerning<n id="1" /> as you are!
