<p class="bodytext">When Isaac planted in that land, he reaped in the same year a hundred times what he had sown,<n id="1" /> because the <sc>Lordsc> blessed him.<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">So that same day Esau made his way back<n id="1" /> to Seir.

(The gold of that land is pure;<n id="1" /> pearls<n id="2" /> and lapis lazuli<n id="3" /> are also there).

That is why he named that place<n id="1" /> Beer Sheba,<n id="2" /> because the two of them swore<n id="3" /> an oath there.p>

He called that place Bethel,<n id="1" /> although the former name of the town was Luz.
