The watchman reported, &#8220;He reached them, but hasn&#8217;t started back. The one who drives the lead chariot drives like Jehu son of Nimshi;<n id="1" /> he drives recklessly.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Yet the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s great anger against Judah did not subside; he was still infuriated by all the things Manasseh had done.<n id="1" />

Elijah told Elisha, &#8220;Stay here, for the <sc>Lordsc> has sent me to Bethel.&#8221;<n id="1" /> But Elisha said, &#8220;As certainly as the <sc>Lordsc> lives and as you live, I will not leave you.&#8221; So they went down to Bethel.

<p class="bodytext">Elijah said to him, &#8220;Elisha, stay here, for the <sc>Lordsc> has sent me to Jericho.&#8221;<n id="1" /> But he replied, &#8220;As certainly as the <sc>Lordsc> lives and as you live, I will not leave you.&#8221; So they went to Jericho.

<p class="bodytext">Elijah said to him, &#8220;Stay here, for the <sc>Lordsc> has sent me to the Jordan.&#8221; But he replied, &#8220;As certainly as the <sc>Lordsc> lives and as you live, I will not leave you.&#8221; So they traveled on together.

So the horseman<n id="1" /> went to meet him and said, &#8220;This is what the king says, &#8216;Is everything all right?&#8217;&#8221;<n id="2" /> Jehu replied, &#8220;None of your business!<n id="3" /> Follow me.&#8221; The watchman reported, &#8220;The messenger reached them, but hasn&#8217;t started back.&#8221;

No king before or after repented before the <sc>Lordsc> as he did, with his whole heart, soul, and being in accordance with the whole law of Moses.<n id="1" />p>
