<p class="poetry">So put on sackcloth!p> <p class="poetry">Mourn and wail, saying,p> <p class="poetry">&#8216;The fierce anger of the <sc>Lordsc>p> <p class="poetry">has not turned away from us!&#8217;&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> says,p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;I will restore the ruined houses of the descendants of Jacob.p> <p class="poetry">I will show compassion on their ruined homes.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">Every city will be rebuilt on its former ruins.<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">Every fortified dwelling will occupy its traditional site.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">I have listened to them very carefully,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">but they do not speak honestly.p> <p class="poetry">None of them regrets the evil he has done.p> <p class="poetry">None of them says, &#8220;I have done wrong!&#8221;<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">All of them persist in their own wayward course<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">like a horse charging recklessly into battle.p>
