He must not eat an animal that has died of natural causes ¹  or an animal torn by beasts and thus become unclean by it. I am the Lord.

This is the law of the one with a discharge: the one who has a seminal emission ¹  and becomes unclean by it, ² 

You must not have sexual intercourse ¹  with the wife of your fellow citizen to become unclean with her.

I myself will make the land desolate and your enemies who live in it will be appalled.

or his sin that he committed ¹  is made known to him, ²  he must bring a flawless male goat as his offering. ³ 

or when he touches human uncleanness with regard to anything by which he can become unclean, ¹  even if he did not realize it, but he himself has later come to know it and is guilty;

or has found something lost and denies it and swears falsely ¹  concerning any one of the things that someone might do to sin ²  –

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf before the Lord and he will be forgiven ²  for whatever he has done to become guilty.” ³ 

If, however, ¹  the priest examines it, and ²  there is no white hair in it, it is not deeper than the skin, and it has faded, then the priest is to quarantine him for seven days. ³ 

“‘When a woman has a discharge ¹  and her discharge is blood from her body, ²  she is to be in her menstruation ³  seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.

You must not have sexual intercourse ¹  with any animal to become defiled with it, and a woman must not stand before an animal to have sexual intercourse with it; ²  it is a perversion. ³ 

You must not do as they do in the land of Egypt where you have been living, ¹  and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan into which I am about to bring you; ²  you must not ³  walk in their statutes.

“‘You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations, ¹  so that ²  the land to which I am about to bring you to take up residence there does not vomit you out.
