Stop oppressing foreigners who live in your land, children who have lost their fathers, and women who have lost their husbands.<n id="1" /> Stop killing innocent people<n id="2" /> in this land. Stop paying allegiance to<n id="3" /> other gods. That will only bring about your ruin.<n id="4" />

They must not marry a widow or a divorcee, but they may marry a virgin from the house of Israel<n id="1" /> or a widow who is a priest&#8217;s widow.

The <sc>Lordsc> says, &#8220;Do what is just and right. Deliver those who have been robbed from those<n id="1" /> who oppress them. Do not exploit or mistreat foreigners who live in your land, children who have no fathers, or widows.<n id="2" /> Do not kill innocent people<n id="3" /> in this land.
