Pharaoh was thinking,<n id="1" /> &#8220;The people of the land are now many, and you are giving them rest from their labor.&#8221;p>

Now I know that the <sc>Lordsc> is greater than all the gods, for in the thing in which they dealt proudly against them he has destroyed them.&#8221;<n id="1" />

<p class="bodytext">Then the <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh,<n id="1" /> for compelled by my strong hand<n id="2" /> he will release them, and by my strong hand he will drive them out of his land.&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

For by now I could have stretched out<n id="1" /> my hand and struck you and your people with plague, and you would have been destroyed<n id="2" /> from the earth.

I am going to cause very severe hail to rain down<n id="1" /> about this time tomorrow, such hail as has never occurred<n id="2" /> in Egypt from the day it was founded<n id="3" /> until now.

Now listen to me,<n id="1" /> I will give you advice, and may God be with you: You be a representative for the people to God,<n id="2" /> and you bring<n id="3" /> their disputes<n id="4" /> to God;
