Then Moses took<n id="1" /> his wife and sons<n id="2" /> and put them on a donkey and headed back<n id="3" /> to the land of Egypt, and Moses took the staff of God in his hand.

<p class="bodytext">So Moses left Pharaoh, went out of the city, and spread out his hands to the <sc>Lordsc>, and the thunder and the hail ceased, and the rain stopped pouring on the earth.

When Moses extended<n id="1" /> his staff toward the sky, the <sc>Lordsc><n id="2" /> sent thunder<n id="3" /> and hail, and fire fell to the earth;<n id="4" /> so the <sc>Lordsc> caused hail to rain down on the land of Egypt.
