&#8220;Go immediately<n id="1" /> to Nineveh,<n id="2" /> that<n id="3" /> large capital<n id="4" /> city,<n id="5" /> and announce judgment against<n id="6" /> its people<n id="7" /> because their wickedness<n id="8" /> has come to my attention.&#8221;<n id="9" />

<p class="bodytext">The people<n id="1" /> of Nineveh believed in God,<n id="2" /> and they declared a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them.<n id="3" />

&#8220;Go immediately<n id="1" /> to Nineveh, that large city,<n id="2" /> and proclaim to<n id="3" /> it the message that I tell you.&#8221;

So Jonah went immediately to Nineveh, as the <sc>Lordsc> had said. (Now Nineveh was an enormous city<n id="1" /> &#8211; it required three days to walk through it!)<n id="2" />

When the news<n id="1" /> reached the king of Nineveh, he got up from his throne, took off his royal robe, put on sackcloth, and sat on ashes.

Should I<n id="1" /> not be even more<n id="2" /> concerned<n id="3" /> about Nineveh, this enormous city?<n id="4" /> There are more than one hundred twenty thousand people in it who do not know right from wrong,<n id="5" /> as well as many animals!&#8221;<n id="6" />p>
