In the morning watch<n id="1" /> the <sc>Lordsc> looked down<n id="2" /> on the Egyptian army<n id="3" /> through the pillar of fire and cloud, and he threw the Egyptian army<n id="4" /> into a panic.<n id="5" />

<p class="bodytext">So they put it aside until the morning, just as Moses had commanded, and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it.

<p class="bodytext">On the next day<n id="1" /> Moses sat to judge<n id="2" /> the people, and the people stood around Moses from morning until evening.

If any of the meat from the consecration offerings<n id="1" /> or any of the bread is left over<n id="2" /> until morning, then you are to burn up<n id="3" /> what is left over. It must not be eaten,<n id="4" /> because it is holy.p>

The second lamb you are to offer around sundown; you are to prepare for it the same meal offering as for the morning and the same drink offering, for a soothing aroma, an offering made by fire to the <sc>Lordsc>.p>

So Moses extended his staff over the land of Egypt, and then the <sc>Lordsc><n id="1" /> brought<n id="2" /> an east wind on the land all that day and all night.<n id="3" /> The morning came,<n id="4" /> and the east wind had brought up<n id="5" /> the locusts!

He said to them, &#8220;This is what the <sc>Lordsc> has said: &#8216;Tomorrow is a time of cessation from work,<n id="1" /> a holy Sabbath<n id="2" /> to the <sc>Lordsc>. Whatever you want to<n id="3" /> bake, bake today;<n id="4" /> whatever you want to boil, boil today; whatever is left put aside for yourselves to be kept until morning.&#8217;&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">On<n id="1" /> the third day in the morning there was thunder and lightning and a dense<n id="2" /> cloud on the mountain, and the sound of a very loud<n id="3" /> horn;<n id="4" /> all the people who were in the camp trembled.
