<p class="bodytext">When the man went out toward the east with a measuring line in his hand, he measured 1,750 feet,<n id="1" /> and then he led me through water, which was ankle deep.

<p class="bodytext">Next I noticed the man dressed in linen with the writing kit at his side bringing back word: &#8220;I have done just as you commanded me.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">When the <sc>Lordsc><n id="1" /> commanded the man dressed in linen, &#8220;Take fire from within the wheelwork, from among the cherubim,&#8221; the man<n id="2" /> went in and stood by one of the wheels.<n id="3" />

<p class="bodytext">Then the glory of the God of Israel went up from the cherub where it had rested to the threshold of the temple.<n id="1" /> He called to the man dressed in linen who had the writing kit at his side.

The <sc>Lordsc><n id="1" /> said to the man dressed in linen, &#8220;Go between the wheelwork<n id="2" /> underneath the cherubim.<n id="3" /> Fill your hands with burning coals from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.&#8221; He went as I watched.p>

The man said to me, &#8220;Son of man, watch closely, listen carefully, and pay attention<n id="1" /> to everything I show you, for you have been brought here so that I can show it to you.<n id="2" /> Tell the house of Israel everything you see.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">I saw<n id="1" /> a wall all around the outside of the temple.<n id="2" /> In the man&#8217;s hand was a measuring stick 10½ feet<n id="3" /> long. He measured the thickness of the wall<n id="4" /> as 10½ feet,<n id="5" /> and its height as 10½ feet.
