So you are to appoint Aaron and his sons, and they will be responsible for their priesthood;<n id="1" /> but the unauthorized person<n id="2" /> who comes near must be put to death.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;But if he hits someone with an iron tool so that he dies,<n id="1" /> he is a murderer. The murderer must surely be put to death.

Moreover, you must not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death; he must surely be put to death.

Whenever the tabernacle is to move,<n id="1" /> the Levites must take it down, and whenever the tabernacle is to be reassembled,<n id="2" /> the Levites must set it up.<n id="3" /> Any unauthorized person<n id="4" /> who approaches it must be killed.p>

Then the <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;The man must surely be put to death; the whole community must stone<n id="1" /> him with stones outside the camp.&#8221;

If he strikes him by throwing a stone large enough that he could die, and he dies, he is a murderer. The murderer must surely be put to death.

Or if he strikes him with a wooden hand weapon so that he could die, and he dies, he is a murderer. The murderer must surely be put to death.

or with enmity he strikes him with his hand and he dies, the one who struck him must surely be put to death, for he is a murderer. The avenger of blood must kill the murderer when he meets him.p>

<p class="bodytext">But those who were to camp in front of the tabernacle on the east, in front of the tent of meeting, were Moses, Aaron,<n id="1" /> and his sons. They were responsible for the needs<n id="2" /> of the sanctuary and for the needs of the Israelites, but the unauthorized person who approached was to be put to death.

But you and your sons with you are responsible for your priestly duties, for everything at the altar and within the curtain. And you must serve. I give you the priesthood as a gift for service; but the unauthorized person who approaches must be put to death.&#8221;p>
