You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters.<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;These you can eat from all creatures that are in the water: Any creatures in the water that have both fins and scales,<n id="1" /> whether in the seas or in the streams,<n id="2" /> you may eat.

And you must not eat any blood of the birds or the domesticated land animals in any of the places where you live.<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;You must not eat anything with the blood still in it.<n id="1" /> You must not practice either divination or soothsaying.<n id="2" />

This is<n id="1" /> a perpetual statute throughout your generations<n id="2" /> in all the places where you live: You must never eat any fat or any blood.&#8217;&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

&#8220;Tell the Israelites, &#8216;You must not eat any fat of an ox, sheep, or goat.

You may eat any among the animals that has a divided hoof (the hooves are completely split in two<n id="1" />) and that also chews the cud.<n id="2" />

You must not eat from their meat and you must not touch their carcasses;<n id="1" /> they are unclean to you.p>

Since they are detestable to you, you must not eat their meat and their carcass you must detest.

Then in the fifth year you may eat its fruit to add its produce to your harvest.<n id="1" /> I am the <sc>Lordsc> your God.p>

Then on the fifteenth day of the same month<n id="1" /> will be the festival of unleavened bread to the <sc>Lordsc>; seven days you must eat unleavened bread.

Because that year is a jubilee, it will be holy to you &#8211; you may eat its produce<n id="1" /> from the field.p>

&#8220;Tell the Israelites: &#8216;This is the kind of creature you may eat from among all the animals<n id="1" /> that are on the land.

These you may eat from them:<n id="1" /> the locust of any kind, the bald locust of any kind, the cricket of any kind, the grasshopper of any kind.

and you may sow the eighth year and eat from that sixth year&#8217;s produce<n id="1" /> &#8211; old produce. Until you bring in the ninth year&#8217;s produce,<n id="2" /> you may eat old produce.

Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons, &#8220;Boil the meat at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, and there you are to eat it and the bread which is in the ordination offering basket, just as I have commanded,<n id="1" /> saying, &#8216;Aaron and his sons are to eat it,&#8217;

Also, the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution offering you must eat in a ceremonially<n id="1" /> clean place, you and your sons and daughters with you, for they have been given as your allotted portion and the allotted portion of your sons from the peace offering sacrifices of the Israelites.<n id="2" />

However, you must not eat these<n id="1" /> from among those that chew the cud and have divided hooves: The camel is unclean to you<n id="2" /> because it chews the cud<n id="3" /> even though its hoof is not divided.<n id="4" />

However, this you may eat from all the winged swarming things that walk on all fours, which have jointed legs<n id="1" /> to hop with on the land.
