<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">The Israelites traveled on<n id="2" /> and camped in the plains of Moab on the side of the Jordan River<n id="3" /> across from Jericho.<n id="4" />

So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab, by the Jordan River<n id="1" /> across from Jericho.<n id="2" /> They said,

They traveled from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan River<n id="1" /> across from Jericho.<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho. He said:

The two and a half tribes have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan, east of Jericho,<n id="1" /> toward the sunrise.&#8221;p>

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">Then the <sc>Lordsc> spoke to Moses in the Moabite plains by the Jordan near Jericho.<n id="2" /> He said:

the Negev, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of the date palm trees, as far as Zoar.

The men of Jericho<n id="1" /> built adjacent to it, and Zaccur son of Imri built adjacent to them.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the Israelites in the plains of Moab along the Jordan River opposite Jericho.<n id="1" />

<p class="bodytext">These are the commandments and the decisions that the <sc>Lordsc> commanded the Israelites through the authority<n id="1" /> of Moses, on the plains of Moab by the Jordan River<n id="2" /> opposite Jericho.<n id="3" />p>

But the Babylonian army chased after the king. They caught up with him in the plains of Jericho,<n id="1" /> and his entire army deserted him.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then Moses ascended from the deserts of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the summit of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho.<n id="1" /> The <sc>Lordsc> showed him the whole land &#8211; Gilead to Dan,

Men were assigned to take the prisoners and find clothes among the plunder for those who were naked.<n id="1" /> So they clothed them, supplied them with sandals, gave them food and drink, and provided them with oil to rub on their skin.<n id="2" /> They put the ones who couldn&#8217;t walk on donkeys.<n id="3" /> They brought them back to their brothers at Jericho,<n id="4" /> the city of the date palm trees, and then returned to Samaria.p>

But the Babylonian<n id="1" /> army chased after them. They caught up with Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho<n id="2" /> and captured him.<n id="3" /> They took him to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon at Riblah<n id="4" /> in the territory of Hamath and Nebuchadnezzar passed sentence on him there.
