You must be holy to me because I, the <sc>Lord,sc> am holy, and I have set you apart from the other peoples to be mine.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;If in spite of this<n id="1" /> you do not obey me but walk in hostility against me,<n id="2" />

then whoever owns the house<n id="1" /> must come and declare to the priest, &#8216;Something like an infection is visible to me in the house.&#8217;

The land must not be sold without reclaim<n id="1" /> because the land belongs to me, for you are foreigners and residents with me.<n id="2" />

I will walk among you, and I will be your God and you will be my people.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;If, however,<n id="1" /> you do not obey me and keep<n id="2" /> all these commandments &#8211;

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;If, in spite of all these things,<n id="1" /> you do not obey me, I will discipline you seven times more on account of your sins.<n id="2" />

because the Israelites are my own servants;<n id="1" /> they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt. I am the <sc>Lordsc> your God.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;If you walk in hostility against me<n id="1" /> and are not willing to obey me, I will increase your affliction<n id="2" /> seven times according to your sins.

&#8220;Tell Aaron and his sons that they must deal respectfully with the holy offerings<n id="1" /> of the Israelites, which they consecrate to me, so that they do not profane my holy name.<n id="2" /> I am the <sc>Lordsc>.
