The men of Judah said to their relatives, the men of Simeon,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Invade our allotted land with us and help us attack the Canaanites.<n id="2" /> Then we<n id="3" /> will go with you into your allotted land.&#8221; So the men of Simeon went with them.p>

<p class="bodytext">Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, &#8220;You have brought ruin<n id="1" /> on me by making me a foul odor<n id="2" /> among the inhabitants of the land &#8211; among the Canaanites and the Perizzites.
