Instead new wine must be poured into new wineskins. ¹ 

But, according to his promise, we are waiting for ¹  new heavens and a new earth, in which ²  righteousness truly resides. ³ 

For look, I am ready to create new heavens and a new earth! ¹  The former ones ²  will not be remembered; no one will think about them anymore. ³ 

Old and new wine take away the understanding of my people. ¹ 

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; ¹  otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins will be destroyed. Instead new wine is poured into new wineskins.” ² 

So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away ¹  – look, what is new ²  has come! ³ 

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; ¹  otherwise the skins burst and the wine is spilled out and the skins are destroyed. Instead they put new wine into new wineskins ²  and both are preserved.”

Throw away all your sins you have committed and fashion yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! ¹  Why should you die, O house of Israel?

Then ¹  I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist, ²  and the sea existed no more.

Then a new king, ¹  who did not know about ²  Joseph, came to power ³  over Egypt.

Sing to him a new song! ¹  Play skillfully as you shout out your praises to him! ² 

Sing to the Lord a new song! ²  Sing to the Lord, all the earth!

The new wine dries up, the vines shrivel up, all those who like to celebrate ¹  groan.

“For just as the new heavens and the new earth I am about to make will remain standing before me,” says the Lord, “so your descendants and your name will remain.

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. ¹  If he does, the new wine will burst the skins and will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.

But others jeered at the speakers, ¹  saying, “They are drunk on new wine!” ² 

My glory ¹  will always be fresh ²  in me, and my bow ever new in my hand.’

Inside I am like wine which has no outlet, ¹  like new wineskins ²  ready to burst!

Threshing floors and wine vats will not feed the people, ¹  and new wine only deceives them. ² 

I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone ¹  from your body and give you a heart of flesh. ²
