So Simon Peter ¹  gestured to this disciple ²  to ask Jesus ³  who it was he was referring to. ⁴ 

Isaiah said these things because he saw Christ’s ¹  glory, and spoke about him.

(Now Jesus had been talking about ¹  his death, but they ²  thought he had been talking about real sleep.) ³ 

“What I am saying does not refer to all of you. I know the ones I have chosen. But this is to fulfill the scripture, ¹  ‘The one who eats my bread ²  has turned against me.’ ³
