So ¹  they came to the other side of the lake, to the region of the Gerasenes. ² 

Then ¹  he left them, got back into the boat, and went to the other side.

On that day, when evening came, Jesus ¹  said to his disciples, “Let’s go across to the other side of the lake.” ² 

When Jesus had crossed again in a boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around him, and he was by the sea.

Immediately Jesus ¹  made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dispersed the crowd.

Then ¹  as they went into the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe ²  sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

For whoever is not against us is for us.

And they crucified two outlaws with him, one on his right and one on his left.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  left that place and went to the region of Judea and ³  beyond the Jordan River. ⁴  Again crowds gathered to him, and again, as was his custom, he taught them.

There on the hillside, ¹  a great herd of pigs was feeding.

Immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.

Jesus ¹  went out again by the sea. The whole crowd came to him, and he taught them.

And as he sowed, some seed ¹  fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it.

His disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing against you and you say, ‘Who touched me?’”

After they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret ¹  and anchored there.

He also said to them, “You neatly reject the commandment of God in order to set up ¹  your tradition.

Have you not read this scripture: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. ¹ 

Jerusalem, ¹  Idumea, beyond the Jordan River, ²  and around Tyre ³  and Sidon ⁴  a great multitude came to him when they heard about the things he had done.

These are the ones on the path where the word is sown: Whenever they hear, immediately Satan ¹  comes and snatches the word ²  that was sown in them.

After Jesus ¹  took him aside privately, away from the crowd, he put his fingers in the man’s ²  ears, and after spitting, he touched his tongue. ³
