‘But I will take you out of the city. ¹  And I will hand you over to foreigners. I will execute judgments on you.

Yet I had pity on ¹  them and did not destroy them, so I did not make an end of them in the wilderness.

I will bring you into the wilderness of the nations, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face.

Mark out the routes for the sword to take: “Rabbah of the Ammonites” and “Judah with Jerusalem in it.” ¹ 

I will scatter you among the nations and disperse you among various countries; I will remove your impurity from you. ¹ 

They engaged in prostitution in Egypt; in their youth they engaged in prostitution. Their breasts were squeezed there; lovers ¹  fondled their virgin nipples there.

Now the coastlands will tremble on the day of your fall; the coastlands by the sea will be terrified by your passing.’ ¹ 

All the inhabitants of the coastlands are shocked at you, and their kings are horribly afraid – their faces are troubled.

You will die the death of the uncircumcised ¹  by the hand of foreigners; for I have spoken, declares the sovereign Lord.’”

Because you push with your side and your shoulder, and thrust your horns at all the weak sheep until you scatter them abroad, ¹ 

And you, my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are my people, ¹  and I am your God, declares the sovereign Lord.’”

This is what the sovereign Lord says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will turn you into a desolation.

Next to the border of Asher from the east side to the west, Naphtali will have one portion.

Next to the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon will have one portion.

Next to the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun will have one portion.

But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness; they did not follow my statutes and they rejected my regulations (the one who obeys them will live by them), and they utterly desecrated my Sabbaths. So I decided to pour out ¹  my rage on them in the wilderness and destroy them. ² 

I will leave you in the wilderness, you and all the fish of your waterways; you will fall in the open field and will not be gathered up or collected. ¹  I have given you as food to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the skies.

Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must trample the rest of your pastures with your feet? When you drink clean water, must you muddy the rest of the water by trampling it with your feet?

But if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, it will be his until the year of liberty; ¹  then it will revert to the prince. His inheritance will only remain with his sons.

“Next to the border of Judah from the east side to the west will be the allotment you must set apart. It is to be eight and a quarter miles ¹  wide, and the same length as one of the tribal portions, from the east side to the west; the sanctuary will be in the middle of it.
