<p class="bodytext">&#8220;When a foreigner lives<n id="1" /> with you and wants to observe the Passover to the <sc>Lordsc>, all his males must be circumcised,<n id="2" /> and then he may approach and observe it, and he will be like one who is born in the land<n id="3" /> &#8211; but no uncircumcised person may eat of it.

It came between the Egyptian camp and the Israelite camp; it was a dark cloud<n id="1" /> and it lit up the night so that one camp did not come near the other<n id="2" /> the whole night.<n id="3" />

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;And you, bring near<n id="2" /> to you your brother Aaron and his sons with him from among the Israelites, so that they may minister as my priests<n id="3" /> &#8211; Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron&#8217;s sons.

<p class="bodytext">When he approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses became extremely angry.<n id="1" /> He threw the tablets from his hands and broke them to pieces at the bottom of the mountain.<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">Moses summoned<n id="1" /> Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person in whom<n id="2" /> the <sc>Lordsc> had put skill &#8211; everyone whose heart stirred him<n id="3" /> to volunteer<n id="4" /> to do the work,

Then the one presenting the offering<n id="1" /> must slaughter the bull<n id="2" /> before the <sc>Lord,sc> and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must present the blood and splash<n id="3" /> the blood against the sides of the altar which is at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.

Then he must present a gift to the <sc>Lordsc> from the peace offering sacrifice: He must remove all the fatty tail up to the end of the spine, the fat covering the entrails, and all the fat on the entrails,<n id="1" />

&#8220;This is the offering of Aaron and his sons which they must present to the <sc>Lordsc> on the day when he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah<n id="1" /> of choice wheat flour<n id="2" /> as a continual grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

If some of the meat of his peace offering sacrifice is ever eaten on the third day it will not be accepted; it will not be accounted to the one who presented it, since it is spoiled,<n id="1" /> and the person who eats from it will bear his punishment for iniquity.<n id="2" />

Next he brought Aaron&#8217;s sons forward, and Moses put some of the blood on their right earlobes, on their right thumbs, and on the big toes of their right feet, and Moses splashed the rest of the blood against the altar&#8217;s sides.p>

Moses then said to Aaron, &#8220;Approach the altar and make your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement on behalf of yourself and on behalf of the people;<n id="1" /> and also make the people&#8217;s offering and make atonement on behalf of them just as the <sc>Lordsc> has commanded.&#8221;p>

Then Aaron&#8217;s sons presented the blood to him and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, and the rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> Aaron&#8217;s sons, Nadab and Abihu, each took his fire pan and put fire in it, set incense on it, and presented strange fire<n id="2" /> before the <sc>Lordsc>, which he had not commanded them to do.

Moses then called to Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel, Aaron&#8217;s uncle, and said to them, &#8220;Come near, carry your brothers away from the front of the sanctuary to a place outside the camp.&#8221;

But Aaron spoke to Moses, &#8220;See here!<n id="1" /> Just today they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the <sc>Lordsc> and such things as these have happened to me! If I had eaten a sin offering today would the <sc>Lordsc> have been pleased?&#8221;<n id="2" />

but has not brought it to the entrance of the Meeting Tent<n id="1" /> to present it as<n id="2" /> an offering to the <sc>Lordsc> before the tabernacle of the <sc>Lordsc>. He has shed blood, so that man will be cut off from the midst of his people.<n id="3" />

Say to them, &#8216;Throughout your generations,<n id="1" /> if any man from all your descendants approaches the holy offerings which the Israelites consecrate<n id="2" /> to the <sc>Lordsc> while he is impure,<n id="3" /> that person must be cut off from before me.<n id="4" /> I am the <sc>Lordsc>.

If a man presents a peace offering sacrifice to the <sc>Lordsc> for a special votive offering<n id="1" /> or for a freewill offering from the herd or the flock, it must be flawless to be acceptable;<n id="2" /> it must have no flaw.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;You must not present to the <sc>Lordsc> something blind, or with a broken bone, or mutilated, or with a running sore,<n id="1" /> or with a festering eruption, or with a feverish rash.<n id="2" /> You must not give any of these as a gift<n id="3" /> on the altar to the <sc>Lordsc>.

Along with the loaves of bread,<n id="1" /> you must also present seven flawless yearling lambs,<n id="2" /> one young bull,<n id="3" /> and two rams.<n id="4" /> They are to be a burnt offering to the <sc>Lordsc> along with their grain offering<n id="5" /> and drink offerings, a gift of a soothing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>.<n id="6" />
