And the priest must take the boiled shoulder of the ram, one cake made without yeast from the basket, and one wafer made without yeast, and put them on the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his consecrated head; ¹ 

“Also in the time when you rejoice, such as ¹  on your appointed festivals or ²  at the beginnings of your months, you must blow with your trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings, so that they may ³  become ⁴  a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.”

But the Kohathites ¹  are not to go in to watch while the holy things are being covered, or they will die.”

You are to eat it as a most holy offering; every male may eat it. It will be holy to you.

Do this, Korah, you and all your company: ¹  Take censers,

“Any of you who has killed anyone or touched any of the dead, remain outside the camp for seven days; purify yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.

(17:28) ¹  Anyone who even comes close to the tabernacle of the Lord will die! Are we all to die?” ² 

No longer may the Israelites approach the tent of meeting, or else they will bear their sin ¹  and die.

but in order that they will live ¹  and not die when they approach the most holy things, do this for them: Aaron and his sons will go in and appoint ²  each man ³  to his service and his responsibility.

Is it a small thing ¹  that you have brought us up out of the land that flows with milk and honey, ²  to kill us in the wilderness? Now do you want to make yourself a prince ³  over us?

because the slayer ¹  should have stayed in his town of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest, the slayer may return to the land of his possessions.

“‘Then the priest will bring her near and have her stand ¹  before the Lord.

as well as one goat for a purification offering, to make atonement for you.

with one male goat for a purification offering to make an atonement for you;

On the eighth day he is to bring ¹  two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the entrance to the tent of meeting.

“This is what pertains to the Levites: ¹  At the age of twenty-five years ²  and upward one may begin to join the company ³  in the work of the tent of meeting,

They may observe it on the fourteenth day of the second month ¹  at twilight; they are to eat it with bread made without yeast and with bitter herbs.

and the posts of the surrounding courtyard with their sockets, tent pegs, and ropes, along with all their furnishings and everything for their service. You are to assign by names the items that each man is responsible to carry. ¹ 

“Do not allow the tribe of the families of the Kohathites to be cut off ¹  from among the Levites;

Then you are to bring the Levites before the Lord, and the Israelites are to lay their hands on the Levites; ¹
