He put the cherubs in the inner sanctuary of the temple.<n id="1" /> Their wings were spread out. One of the first cherub&#8217;s wings touched one wall and one of the other cherub&#8217;s wings touched the opposite wall. The first cherub&#8217;s other wing touched the second cherub&#8217;s other wing in the middle of the room.<n id="2" />

The stands were constructed with frames between the joints.

Hiram had sent to the king one hundred twenty talents<n id="1" /> of gold.p>

Go, tell Jeroboam, &#8216;This is what the <sc>Lordsc> God of Israel says: &#8220;I raised you up<n id="1" /> from among the people and made you ruler over my people Israel.

Also seat two villains opposite him and have them testify, &#8216;You cursed God and the king.&#8217; Then take him out and stone him to death.&#8221;p>

The <sc>Lordsc> has kept the promise he made.<n id="1" /> I have taken my father David&#8217;s place and have occupied the throne of Israel, as the <sc>Lordsc> promised. I have built this temple for the honor<n id="2" /> of the <sc>Lordsc> God of Israel

As certainly as the <sc>Lordsc> your God lives, my master has sent to every nation and kingdom in an effort to find you. When they say, &#8216;He&#8217;s not here,&#8217; he makes them<n id="1" /> swear an oath that they could not find you.

God said to him, &#8220;Because you asked for the ability to make wise judicial decisions, and not for long life, or riches, or vengeance on your enemies,<n id="1" />

Their descendants remained in the land (the Israelites were unable to wipe them out completely). Solomon conscripted them for his work crews, and they continue in that role to this very day.<n id="1" />

With the timber the king made supports<n id="1" /> for the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple and for the royal palace and stringed instruments<n id="2" /> for the musicians. No one has seen so much of this fine timber to this very day.<n id="3" />)

<p class="bodytext">When Rehoboam arrived in Jerusalem, he summoned 180,000 skilled warriors from all of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin<n id="1" /> to attack Israel and restore the kingdom to Rehoboam son of Solomon.
