Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;I told you and you do not believe. The deeds<n id="2" /> I do in my Father&#8217;s name testify about me.

If anyone wants to serve me, he must follow<n id="1" /> me, and where I am, my servant will be too.<n id="2" /> If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.p>

If anyone<n id="1" /> hears my words and does not obey them,<n id="2" /> I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;What I am saying does not refer to all of you. I know the ones I have chosen. But this is to fulfill the scripture,<n id="1" /> &#8216;<b><i>The one who eats my breadi>b><n id="2" /> <b><i>has turned against mei>b>.&#8217;<n id="3" />

Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread<n id="2" /> after I have dipped it in the dish.&#8221;<n id="3" /> Then he dipped the piece of bread in the dish<n id="4" /> and gave it to Judas Iscariot, Simon&#8217;s son.

Children, I am still with you for a little while. You will look for me,<n id="1" /> and just as I said to the Jewish religious leaders,<n id="2" /> &#8216;Where I am going you cannot come,&#8217;<n id="3" /> now I tell you the same.<n id="4" />p>

But the Advocate,<n id="1" /> the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you<n id="2" /> everything,<n id="3" /> and will cause you to remember everything<n id="4" /> I said to you.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Peace I leave with you;<n id="1" /> my peace I give to you; I do not give it<n id="2" /> to you as the world does.<n id="3" /> Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.<n id="4" />

You heard me say to you,<n id="1" /> &#8216;I am going away and I am coming back to you.&#8217; If you loved me, you would be glad<n id="2" /> that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.<n id="3" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains<n id="1" /> in me &#8211; and I in him &#8211; bears<n id="2" /> much fruit,<n id="3" /> because apart from me you can accomplish<n id="4" /> nothing.

If you obey<n id="1" /> my commandments, you will remain<n id="2" /> in my love, just as I have obeyed<n id="3" /> my Father&#8217;s commandments and remain<n id="4" /> in his love.

If you belonged to the world,<n id="1" /> the world would love you as its own.<n id="2" /> However, because you do not belong to the world,<n id="3" /> but I chose you out of the world, for this reason<n id="4" /> the world hates you.<n id="5" />

Remember what<n id="1" /> I told you, &#8216;A slave<n id="2" /> is not greater than his master.&#8217;<n id="3" /> If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they obeyed<n id="4" /> my word, they will obey<n id="5" /> yours too.

When the Advocate<n id="1" /> comes, whom I will send you from the Father &#8211; the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father &#8211; he<n id="2" /> will testify about me,

But I have told you these things<n id="1" /> so that when their time<n id="2" /> comes, you will remember that I told you about them.<n id="3" />p> <p class="bodytext">&#8220;I did not tell you these things from the beginning because I was with you.<n id="4" />

When I was with them I kept them safe<n id="1" /> and watched over them<n id="2" /> in your name<n id="3" /> that you have given me. Not one<n id="4" /> of them was lost except the one destined for destruction,<n id="5" /> so that the scripture could be fulfilled.<n id="6" />

I in them and you in me &#8211; that they may be completely one,<n id="1" /> so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,<n id="1" /> so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world<n id="2" />.

One of the high priest&#8217;s slaves,<n id="1" /> a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off,<n id="2" /> said, &#8220;Did I not see you in the orchard<n id="3" /> with him?&#8221;<n id="4" />

Pilate asked,<n id="1" /> &#8220;What is truth?&#8221;<n id="2" />p> <p class="bodytext">When he had said this he went back outside to the Jewish leaders<n id="3" /> and announced,<n id="4" /> &#8220;I find no basis for an accusation<n id="5" /> against him.
