The house of Israel ¹  called its name “manna.” ²  It was like coriander seed and was white, and it tasted ³  like wafers with honey.

Moses said to Aaron, “Take a jar and put in it an omer full of manna, and place it before the Lord to be kept for generations to come.”

and all the people answered together, “All that the Lord has commanded we will do!” ¹  So Moses brought the words of the people back to the Lord.

and be ready for the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

Moses said to the Lord, “The people are not able to come up to Mount Sinai, because you solemnly warned us, ¹  ‘Set boundaries for the mountain and set it apart.’” ² 

But if a man willfully attacks his neighbor to kill him cunningly, ¹  you will take him even from my altar that he may die.

If the sun has risen on him, then there is blood guilt for him. A thief ¹  must surely make full restitution; if he has nothing, then he will be sold for his theft.

If the thief is not caught, ¹  then the owner of the house will be brought before the judges ²  to see ³  whether he has laid ⁴  his hand on his neighbor’s goods.

¹ “If a man seduces a virgin ²  who is not engaged ³  and has sexual relations with her, he must surely endow ⁴  her to be his wife.

Now the part that remains of the curtains of the tent – the half curtain that remains will hang over at the back of the tabernacle. ¹ 

You are to weave ¹  the tunic of fine linen and make the turban of fine linen, and make the sash the work of an embroiderer.

But the meat of the bull, its skin, and its dung you are to burn up ¹  outside the camp. ²  It is the purification offering. ³ 

and burn ¹  the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering ²  to the Lord, a soothing aroma; it is an offering made by fire ³  to the Lord. ⁴ 

He gave Moses two tablets of testimony when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, tablets of stone written by the finger of God. ¹ 

The Lord said to Moses, “I will do this thing also that you have requested, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know ¹  you by name.”

When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and will cover ¹  you with my hand ²  while I pass by. ³ 

“You must not offer the blood of my sacrifice with yeast; the sacrifice from the feast of Passover must not remain until the following morning. ¹ 

“The first of the firstfruits of your soil you must bring to the house of the Lord your God. You must not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.” ¹ 

The cherubim were spreading their wings ¹  upward, overshadowing the atonement lid with their wings. The cherubim ²  faced each other, ³  looking toward the atonement lid. ⁴ 

The angel of the Lord ¹  appeared ²  to him in ³  a flame of fire from within a bush. ⁴  He looked ⁵  – and ⁶  the bush was ablaze with fire, but it was not being consumed! ⁷
