When<n id="1" /> the Levites lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, offer<n id="2" /> the one for a purification offering and the other for a whole burnt offering to the <sc>Lordsc>,<n id="3" /> to make atonement for the Levites.

If a resident foreigner is living<n id="1" /> with you &#8211; or whoever is among you<n id="2" /> in future generations<n id="3" /> &#8211; and prepares an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>, he must do it the same way you are to do it.<n id="4" />

I myself have chosen<n id="1" /> your brothers the Levites from among the Israelites. They are given to you as a gift from the <sc>Lordsc>, to perform the duties<n id="2" /> of the tent of meeting.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;All the best of the olive oil and all the best of the wine and of the wheat, the first fruits of these things that they give to the <sc>Lordsc>, I have given to you.<n id="1" />

And whatever first ripe fruit in their land they bring to the <sc>Lordsc> will be yours; everyone who is ceremonially clean in your household may eat of it.p>

<p class="bodytext">So Israel made a vow<n id="1" /> to the <sc>Lordsc> and said, &#8220;If you will indeed deliver<n id="2" /> this people into our<n id="3" /> hand, then we will utterly destroy<n id="4" /> their cities.&#8221;

You will say to them, &#8216;This is the offering made by fire which you must offer to the <sc>Lordsc>: two unblemished lambs one year old each day for a continual<n id="1" /> burnt offering.

And the second lamb you must offer in the late afternoon; just as you offered the grain offering and drink offering in the morning,<n id="1" /> you must offer it as an offering made by fire, as a pleasing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;On the first day of each month<n id="1" /> you must offer as a burnt offering to the <sc>Lordsc> two young bulls, one ram, and seven unblemished lambs a year old,

and one-tenth of an ephah of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering for each lamb, as a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the <sc>Lordsc>.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;But you must offer to the <sc>Lordsc> an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs one year old; they must all be unblemished.<n id="1" />

In this manner you must offer daily throughout the seven days the food of the sacrifice made by fire as a sweet aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>. It is to be offered in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;Also, on the day of the first fruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the <sc>Lordsc> during your Feast of Weeks, you are to have a holy assembly. You must do no ordinary work.

But you must offer as the burnt offering, as a sweet aroma to the <sc>Lord,sc> two young bulls, one ram, seven lambs one year old,

this is in addition to the monthly burnt offering and its grain offering, and the daily burnt offering with its grain offering and their drink offerings as prescribed, as a sweet aroma, a sacrifice made by fire to the <sc>Lord.sc>p>

But you must offer a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>, one young bull, one ram, and seven lambs one year old, all of them without blemish.<n id="1" />

When I looked, you had indeed sinned against the <sc>Lordsc> your God and had cast for yourselves a metal calf;<n id="1" /> you had quickly turned aside from the way he<n id="2" /> had commanded you!

<t /><p class="bodytext">You must set apart<n id="1" /> for the <sc>Lordsc> your God every firstborn male born to your herds and flocks. You must not work the firstborn of your bulls or shear the firstborn of your flocks.
