The <sc>Lordsc> will do to them just what he did to Sihon and Og, the Amorite kings, and to their land, which he destroyed.

But I will certainly<n id="1" /> hide myself at that time because of all the wickedness they<n id="2" /> will have done by turning to other gods.

You will die<n id="1" /> on the mountain that you ascend and join your deceased ancestors,<n id="2" /> just as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor<n id="3" /> and joined his deceased ancestors,

So be sure to do them, because this will testify of your wise understanding<n id="1" /> to the people who will learn of all these statutes and say, &#8220;Indeed, this great nation is a very wise<n id="2" /> people.&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">Again, however, pay very careful attention,<n id="1" /> lest you forget the things you have seen and disregard them for the rest of your life; instead teach them to your children and grandchildren.
