Solomon tried to kill Jeroboam, but Jeroboam escaped to Egypt and found refuge with King Shishak of Egypt.<n id="1" /> He stayed in Egypt until Solomon died.p>

The altar split open and the ashes<n id="1" /> fell from the altar to the ground,<n id="2" /> in fulfillment of the sign the prophet had announced with the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s authority.<n id="3" />

Zedekiah son of Kenaanah approached, hit Micaiah on the jaw, and said, &#8220;Which way did the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s spirit go when he went from me to speak to you?&#8221;
