<p class="bodytext">On that day the bells of the horses will bear the inscription &#8220;<sc>Holy to the Lordsc>.&#8221; The cooking pots in the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple<n id="1" /> will be as holy as the bowls in front of the altar.<n id="2" />

You will trample on the wicked, for they will be like ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,&#8221; says the <sc>Lordsc> who rules over all.p>

<p class="bodytext">In the six hundredth year of Noah&#8217;s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month &#8211; on that day all the fountains of the great deep<n id="1" /> burst open and the floodgates of the heavens<n id="2" /> were opened.

That day the <sc>Lordsc> made a covenant<n id="1" /> with Abram: &#8220;To your descendants I give<n id="2" /> this land, from the river of Egypt<n id="3" /> to the great river, the Euphrates River &#8211;

My integrity will testify for me<n id="1" /> later on.<n id="2" /> When you come to verify that I&#8217;ve taken only the wages we agreed on,<n id="3" /> if I have in my possession any goat that is not speckled or spotted or any sheep that is not dark-colored, it will be considered stolen.&#8221;<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">So that day Laban<n id="1" /> removed the male goats that were streaked or spotted, all the female goats that were speckled or spotted (all that had any white on them), and all the dark-colored lambs, and put them in the care<n id="2" /> of his sons.

In three days, when they were still in pain, two of Jacob&#8217;s sons, Simeon and Levi, Dinah&#8217;s brothers, each took his sword<n id="1" /> and went to the unsuspecting city<n id="2" /> and slaughtered every male.

<p class="bodytext">On the third day it was Pharaoh&#8217;s birthday, so he gave a feast for all his servants. He &#8220;lifted up&#8221;<n id="1" /> the head of the chief cupbearer and the head of the chief baker in the midst of his servants.

But on that day I will mark off<n id="1" /> the land of Goshen, where my people are staying,<n id="2" /> so that no swarms of flies will be there, that you may know that I am the <sc>Lordsc> in the midst of this land.<n id="3" />

For seven days<n id="1" /> you must eat<n id="2" /> bread made without yeast.<n id="3" /> Surely<n id="4" /> on the first day you must put away yeast from your houses because anyone who eats bread made with yeast<n id="5" /> from the first day to the seventh day will be cut off<n id="6" /> from Israel.p>

<p class="bodytext">On<n id="1" /> the third day in the morning there was thunder and lightning and a dense<n id="2" /> cloud on the mountain, and the sound of a very loud<n id="3" /> horn;<n id="4" /> all the people who were in the camp trembled.

For in six days the <sc>Lordsc> made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, and he rested on the seventh day; therefore the <sc>Lordsc> blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.p>

or anything about which he swears falsely.<n id="1" /> He must restore it in full<n id="2" /> and add one fifth to it; he must give it to its owner when he is found guilty.<n id="3" />

&#8220;This is the offering of Aaron and his sons which they must present to the <sc>Lordsc> on the day when he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah<n id="1" /> of choice wheat flour<n id="2" /> as a continual grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

If some of the meat of his peace offering sacrifice is ever eaten on the third day it will not be accepted; it will not be accounted to the one who presented it, since it is spoiled,<n id="1" /> and the person who eats from it will bear his punishment for iniquity.<n id="2" />

The priest must then examine it again on the seventh day,<n id="1" /> and if<n id="2" /> the infection has faded and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person clean.<n id="3" /> It is a scab,<n id="4" /> so he must wash his clothes<n id="5" /> and be clean.

The priest must then examine the infection on the seventh day, and if<n id="1" /> the scall has not spread, there is no reddish yellow hair in it, and the scall does not appear to be deeper than the skin,<n id="2" />

The priest must then examine the scall on the seventh day, and if<n id="1" /> the scall has not spread on the skin and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin,<n id="2" /> then the priest is to pronounce him clean.<n id="3" /> So he is to wash his clothes and be clean.

He must then examine the infection on the seventh day. If the infection has spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the leather &#8211; whatever the article into which the leather was made<n id="1" /> &#8211; the infection is a malignant disease. It is unclean.

When the seventh day comes<n id="1" /> he must shave all his hair &#8211; his head, his beard, his eyebrows, all his hair &#8211; and he must wash his clothes, bathe his body in water, and so be clean.<n id="2" />p>
