he does not need to honor his father.’ ¹  You have nullified the word of God on account of your tradition.

Because ¹  he was not able to repay it, ²  the lord ordered him to be sold, along with ³  his wife, children, and whatever he possessed, and repayment to be made.

Now when Jesus saw a large crowd ¹  around him, he gave orders to go to the other side of the lake. ² 

When ¹  Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. ¹  Then Pilate ordered that it be given to him.

Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows: ¹  “Do not go to Gentile regions ²  and do not enter any Samaritan town. ³ 

So give orders to secure the tomb until the third day. Otherwise his disciples may come and steal his body ¹  and say to the people, ‘He has been raised from the dead,’ and the last deception will be worse than the first.”

Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me, you lawbreakers!’ ¹ 

Then he instructed his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ. ¹ 

The young man said to him, “I have wholeheartedly obeyed ¹  all these laws. ²  What do I still lack?”

Then ¹  he instructed the crowds to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and two fish, and looking up to heaven he gave thanks and broke the loaves. He gave them to the disciples, ²  who in turn gave them to the crowds. ³ 

When it was evening, many demon-possessed people were brought to him. He drove out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick. ¹ 

“Which ones?” he asked. Jesus replied, “Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony,

They ¹  do all their deeds to be seen by people, for they make their phylacteries ²  wide and their tassels ³  long.

And he said, ¹  “Go!” So ²  they came out and went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep slope into the lake and drowned in the water.

He said to her, “What do you want?” She replied, ¹  “Permit ²  these two sons of mine to sit, one at your ³  right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.”
