When they went out from Pharaoh, they encountered Moses and Aaron standing there to meet them, ¹ 

The frogs will depart from you, your houses, your servants, and your people; they will be left only in the Nile.”

The Israelites journeyed ¹  from Rameses ²  to Sukkoth. There were about 600,000 men ³  on foot, plus their dependants. ⁴ 

On the next day ¹  Moses sat to judge ²  the people, and the people stood around Moses from morning until evening.

Make for them linen undergarments to cover their naked bodies; ¹  they must cover ²  from the waist to the thighs.

He made the middle bar to reach from end to end in the center of the frames.

But when the cloud was lifted up ¹  from the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out ²  on all their journeys;

For seven days ¹  you must eat ²  bread made without yeast. ³  Surely ⁴  on the first day you must put away yeast from your houses because anyone who eats bread made with yeast ⁵  from the first day to the seventh day will be cut off ⁶  from Israel.

¹ A man from the household ²  of Levi married ³  a woman who was a descendant of Levi. ⁴ 

I will meet with you there, ¹  and ²  from above the atonement lid, from between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will command you for the Israelites.

Moses and Aaron and his sons would wash their hands and their feet from it.

Pharaoh was thinking, ¹  “The people of the land are now many, and you are giving them rest from their labor.”

And Moses ¹  said to him, “If your presence does not go ²  with us, ³  do not take us up from here. ⁴ 

Why ¹  should the Egyptians say, ²  ‘For evil ³  he led them out to kill them in the mountains and to destroy ⁴  them from the face of the earth’? Turn from your burning anger, and relent ⁵  of this evil against your people.

¹ When ²  they journeyed from Elim, the entire company ³  of Israelites came to the Desert of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their exodus ⁴  from the land of Egypt.

Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.

The poles must remain in the rings of the ark; they must not be removed from it.

“Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats. ¹  You must give me the firstborn of your sons.

¹ In the future, ²  when your son asks you ³  ‘What is this?’ ⁴  you are to tell him, ‘With a mighty hand ⁵  the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the land of slavery. ⁶ 

You are to sanctify the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution, ¹  which were waved and lifted up as a contribution from the ram of consecration, from what belongs to Aaron and to his sons.
