<t /><p class="bodytext">But when Cephas<n id="1" /> came to Antioch,<n id="2" /> I opposed him to his face, because he had clearly done wrong.<n id="3" />

But if while seeking to be justified in Christ we ourselves have also been found to be sinners, is Christ then one who encourages<n id="1" /> sin? Absolutely not!

Now it is clear no one is justified before God by the law, because <i><b>the righteous one will live by faithb>i>.<n id="1" />

But the law is not based on faith,<n id="1" /> but <b><i>the one who doesi>b> the works of the law<n id="2" /> <b><i>will live by themi>b>.<n id="3" />

For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise, but God graciously gave<n id="1" /> it to Abraham through the promise.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now before faith<n id="1" /> came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners<n id="2" /> until the coming faith would be revealed.

<p class="bodytext">Now I mean that the heir, as long as he is a minor,<n id="1" /> is no different from a slave, though he is the owner<n id="2" /> of everything.

I wish I could be with you now and change my tone of voice,<n id="1" /> because I am perplexed about you.p>

But one, the son by the slave woman, was born by natural descent,<n id="1" /> while the other, the son by the free woman, was born through the promise.

And I testify again to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey<n id="1" /> the whole law.

Now, brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted?<n id="2" /> In that case the offense of the cross<n id="3" /> has been removed.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">But the fruit of the Spirit<n id="1" /> is love,<n id="2" /> joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,<n id="3" />

Now those who belong to Christ<n id="1" /> have crucified the flesh<n id="2" /> with its passions<n id="3" /> and desires.

So we must not grow weary<n id="1" /> in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.<n id="2" />

So then,<n id="1" /> whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the family of faith.<n id="2" />p>

I have been crucified with Christ,<n id="1" /> and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So<n id="2" /> the life I now live in the body,<n id="3" /> I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God,<n id="4" /> who loved me and gave himself for me.

But when the one<n id="1" /> who set me apart from birth<n id="2" /> and called me by his grace was pleased

Now this matter arose<n id="1" /> because of the false brothers with false pretenses<n id="2" /> who slipped in unnoticed to spy on<n id="3" /> our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, to make us slaves.<n id="4" />

Until<n id="1" /> certain people came from James, he had been eating with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he stopped doing this<n id="2" /> and separated himself<n id="3" /> because he was afraid of those who were pro-circumcision.<n id="4" />

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the gospel to Abraham ahead of time,<n id="1" /> saying, &#8220;<b><i>All the nationsi>b><n id="2" /> <b><i>will be blessed in youi>b><sc>.&#8221;sc><n id="3" />
