So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going ¹  to vomit ²  you out of my mouth!

The sky ¹  was split apart ²  like a scroll being rolled up, ³  and every mountain and island was moved from its place.

Now ¹  I heard the number of those who were marked with the seal, ²  one hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed from all ³  the tribes of the people of Israel: ⁴ 

The ¹  smoke coming from the incense, ²  along with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

Then ¹  another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.

Now ¹  when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison

Then ¹  I saw something like a sea of glass ²  mixed with fire, and those who had conquered ³  the beast and his image and the number of his name. They were standing ⁴  by ⁵  the sea of glass, holding harps given to them by God. ⁶ 

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers ¹  will in no way be harmed by the second death.’

Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness, ¹  and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, ²  unless they repent of her deeds.

Then ¹  one of the elders asked ²  me, “These dressed in long white robes – who are they and where have they come from?”

Then ¹  out of the smoke came locusts onto the earth, and they were given power ²  like that of the scorpions of the earth.

Then ¹  the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a single voice coming from the ²  horns on the golden altar that is before God,

Then ¹  the serpent spouted water like a river out of his mouth after the woman in an attempt to ²  sweep her away by a flood,

Then ¹  I saw another beast ²  coming up from the earth. He ³  had two horns like a lamb, ⁴  but ⁵  was speaking like a dragon.

He ¹  performed momentous signs, even making fire come down from heaven in front of people ² 

Then ¹  the winepress was stomped ²  outside the city, and blood poured out of the winepress up to the height of horses’ bridles ³  for a distance of almost two hundred miles. ⁴ 

Finally ¹  the seventh angel ²  poured out his bowl into the air and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying: “It is done!”

with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality and the earth’s inhabitants got drunk with the wine of her immorality.” ¹ 

The ¹  beast that was, and is not, is himself an eighth king and yet is one of the seven, and is going to destruction.

(Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has pronounced judgment ¹  against her on your behalf!) ²
