You have heard the blasphemy! What is your verdict?&#8221;<n id="1" /> They all condemned him as deserving death.

Jerusalem,<n id="1" /> Idumea, beyond the Jordan River,<n id="2" /> and around Tyre<n id="3" /> and Sidon<n id="4" /> a great multitude came to him when they heard about the things he had done.

These are the ones sown on rocky ground: As soon as they hear the word, they receive it with joy.

And he said to them, &#8220;Take care about what you hear. The measure you use will be the measure you receive,<n id="1" /> and more will be added to you.

They ran through that whole region and began to bring the sick on mats to wherever he was rumored to be.<n id="1" />

Instead, a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit<n id="1" /> immediately heard about him and came and fell at his feet.

Then<n id="1" /> a cloud<n id="2" /> overshadowed them,<n id="3" /> and a voice came from the cloud, &#8220;This is my one dear Son.<n id="4" /> Listen to him!&#8221;<n id="5" />

When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Jesus, Son of David,<n id="2" /> have mercy<n id="3" /> on me!&#8221;

He said to it,<n id="1" /> &#8220;May no one ever eat fruit from you again.&#8221; And his disciples heard it.<n id="2" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> one of the experts in the law<n id="2" /> came and heard them debating. When he saw that Jesus<n id="3" /> answered them well, he asked him, &#8220;Which commandment is the most important of all?&#8221;

Jesus answered, &#8220;The most important is: &#8216;<i><b>Listen, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is oneb>.i>

<p class="bodyblock">If David himself calls him &#8216;Lord,&#8217; how can he be his son?&#8221;<n id="1" /> And the large crowd was listening to him with delight.p>

&#8220;We heard him say, &#8216;I will destroy this temple made with hands and in three days build another not made with hands.&#8217;&#8221;

When Jesus heard this he said to them, &#8220;Those who are healthy don&#8217;t need a physician, but those who are sick do.<n id="1" /> I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.&#8221;p>

These are the ones on the path where the word is sown: Whenever they hear, immediately Satan<n id="1" /> comes and snatches the word<n id="2" /> that was sown in them.

But<n id="1" /> these are the ones sown on good soil: They hear the word and receive it and bear fruit, one thirty times as much, one sixty, and one a hundred.&#8221;p>

If a place will not welcome you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off<n id="1" /> your feet as a testimony against them.&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> King Herod<n id="2" /> heard this, for Jesus&#8217;<n id="3" /> name had become known. Some<n id="4" /> were saying, &#8220;John the baptizer<n id="5" /> has been raised from the dead, and because of this, miraculous powers are at work in him.&#8221;

The chief priests and the experts in the law<n id="1" /> heard it and they considered how they could assassinate<n id="2" /> him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed by his teaching.

When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue.<n id="1" /> Many who heard him were astonished, saying, &#8220;Where did he get these ideas?<n id="2" /> And what is this wisdom that has been given to him? What are these miracles that are done through his hands?
