How can you believe, if you accept praise<n id="1" /> from one another and don&#8217;t seek the praise<n id="2" /> that comes from the only God?<n id="3" />p>

Then Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed the bread to those who were seated. He then did the same with the fish,<n id="1" /> as much as they wanted.

Then they wanted to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat came to the land where they had been heading.p>

But if a male child<n id="1" /> is circumcised<n id="2" /> on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses is not broken,<n id="3" /> why are you angry with me because I made a man completely well<n id="4" /> on the Sabbath?

(Now he said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given,<n id="1" /> because Jesus was not yet glorified.)<n id="2" />p>

Everything that the Father has is mine; that is why I said the Spirit<n id="1" /> will receive from me what is mine<n id="2" /> and will tell it to you.<n id="3" />

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive it,<n id="1" /> so that your joy may be complete.p>

So Judas obtained a squad of soldiers<n id="1" /> and some officers of the chief priests and Pharisees.<n id="2" /> They came to the orchard<n id="3" /> with lanterns<n id="4" /> and torches and weapons.p>

He then said to his disciple, &#8220;Look, here is your mother!&#8221; From that very time<n id="1" /> the disciple took her into his own home.p>

When<n id="1" /> he had received the sour wine, Jesus said, &#8220;It is completed!&#8221;<n id="2" /> Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.<n id="3" />p>

Then they took Jesus&#8217; body and wrapped it, with the aromatic spices,<n id="1" /> in strips of linen cloth<n id="2" /> according to Jewish burial customs.<n id="3" />

Then Mary took three quarters of a pound<n id="1" /> of expensive aromatic oil from pure nard<n id="2" /> and anointed the feet of Jesus. She<n id="3" /> then wiped his feet dry with her hair. (Now the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfumed oil.)<n id="4" />

So they took branches of palm trees<n id="1" /> and went out to meet him. They began to shout,<n id="2" /> &#8220;<b><i>Hosanna!i>b><n id="3" /> <b><i>Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!i>b><n id="4" /> Blessed is<n id="5" /> the king of Israel!&#8221;

The one who rejects me and does not accept<n id="1" /> my words has a judge;<n id="2" /> the word<n id="3" /> I have spoken will judge him at the last day.

<p class="bodytext">So when Jesus<n id="1" /> had washed their feet and put his outer clothing back on, he took his place at the table<n id="2" /> again and said to them, &#8220;Do you understand<n id="3" /> what I have done for you?

Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread<n id="2" /> after I have dipped it in the dish.&#8221;<n id="3" /> Then he dipped the piece of bread in the dish<n id="4" /> and gave it to Judas Iscariot, Simon&#8217;s son.

the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept,<n id="1" /> because it does not see him or know him. But you know him, because he resides<n id="2" /> with you and will be<n id="3" /> in you.p>

because I have given them the words you have given me. They<n id="1" /> accepted<n id="2" /> them<n id="3" /> and really<n id="4" /> understand<n id="5" /> that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.

<p class="bodytext">Pilate told them,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Take him yourselves and pass judgment on him<n id="2" /> according to your own law!&#8221;<n id="3" /> The Jewish leaders<n id="4" /> replied,<n id="5" /> &#8220;We cannot legally put anyone to death.&#8221;<n id="6" />

When the chief priests and their officers saw him, they shouted out, &#8220;Crucify<n id="1" /> him! Crucify him!&#8221;<n id="2" /> Pilate said,<n id="3" /> &#8220;You take him and crucify him!<n id="4" /> Certainly<n id="5" /> I find no reason for an accusation<n id="6" /> against him!&#8221;
