After assembling all the chief priests and experts in the law,<n id="1" /> he asked them where the Christ<n id="2" /> was to be born.

Simon Peter answered,<n id="1" /> &#8220;You are the Christ,<n id="2" /> the Son of the living God.&#8221;

For many will come in my name, saying, &#8216;I am the Christ,&#8217;<n id="1" /> and they will mislead many.

Then<n id="1" /> if anyone says to you, &#8216;Look, here is the Christ!&#8217;<n id="2" /> or &#8216;Look, there he is!&#8217; do not believe him.

<p class="bodytext">One of the criminals who was hanging there railed at him, saying, &#8220;Aren&#8217;t<n id="1" /> you the Christ?<n id="2" /> Save yourself and us!&#8221;

He confessed &#8211; he did not deny but confessed &#8211; &#8220;I am not the Christ!&#8221;<n id="1" />

But we know where this man<n id="1" /> comes from.<n id="2" /> Whenever the Christ<n id="3" /> comes, no one will know where he comes from.&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but<n id="1" /> the Spirit is your life<n id="2" /> because of righteousness.

And in this way I desire to preach where Christ has not been named, so as not to build on another person&#8217;s foundation,

Is Christ divided? Paul wasn&#8217;t crucified for you, was he?<n id="1" /> Or were you in fact baptized in the name of Paul?<n id="2" />

For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ.

So by your knowledge the weak brother or sister,<n id="1" /> for whom Christ died, is destroyed.<n id="2" />

And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is futile and your faith is empty.

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins.

But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to him.<n id="1" />

But if while seeking to be justified in Christ we ourselves have also been found to be sinners, is Christ then one who encourages<n id="1" /> sin? Absolutely not!

I do not set aside<n id="1" /> God&#8217;s grace, because if righteousness<n id="2" /> could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing!<n id="3" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">You<n id="1" /> foolish Galatians! Who has cast a spell<n id="2" /> on you? Before your eyes Jesus Christ was vividly portrayed<n id="3" /> as crucified!

<t /><p class="bodytext">For freedom<n id="1" /> Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be subject again to the yoke<n id="2" /> of slavery.

Listen! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you at all!
