and said, &#8220;Sir, we remember that while that deceiver was still alive he said, &#8216;After three days I will rise again.&#8217;

Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, &#8220;Why do we still need witnesses?

Then<n id="1" /> the slave said, &#8216;Sir, what you instructed has been done, and there is still room.&#8217;<n id="2" />

In fact, they can no longer die, because they are equal to angels<n id="1" /> and are sons of God, since they are<n id="2" /> sons<n id="3" /> of the resurrection.

Then<n id="1" /> they said, &#8220;Why do we need further testimony? We have heard it ourselves<n id="2" /> from his own lips!&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

He is not here, but has been raised!<n id="1" /> Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,<n id="2" />

And while they still could not believe it<n id="1" /> (because of their joy) and were amazed,<n id="2" /> he said to them, &#8220;Do you have anything here to eat?&#8221;<n id="3" />

for you are still influenced by the flesh.<n id="1" /> For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people?<n id="2" />

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins.

He<n id="1" /> delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him<n id="2" /> that<n id="3" /> he will deliver us yet again,

And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight

For otherwise would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers would have been purified once for all and so have<n id="1" /> no further consciousness of sin?

Now this phrase &#8220;<b><i>once morei>b>&#8221; indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created things, so that what is unshaken may remain.

<p class="bodytext">The first woe has passed, but<n id="1" /> two woes are still coming after these things!p>

But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you, so that <b><i>at the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be establishedi>b>.<n id="1" />
