Moreover if the Spirit of the one<n id="1" /> who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ<n id="2" /> from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.<n id="3" />p>

but did not have marital relations<n id="1" /> with her until she gave birth to a son, whom he named<n id="2" /> Jesus.p>

Pilate said to them, &#8220;Then what should I do with Jesus who is called the Christ?&#8221;<n id="1" /> They all said, &#8220;Crucify him!&#8221;<n id="2" />

Martha<n id="1" /> said to Jesus, &#8220;Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then the squad of soldiers<n id="1" /> with their commanding officer<n id="2" /> and the officers of the Jewish leaders<n id="3" /> arrested<n id="4" /> Jesus and tied him up.<n id="5" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">While this was happening,<n id="1" /> the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and about his teaching.<n id="2" />

But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs.

And so, because it was the Jewish day of preparation<n id="1" /> and the tomb was nearby,<n id="2" /> they placed Jesus&#8217; body there.p>

The God of our forefathers<n id="1" /> raised up Jesus, whom you seized and killed by hanging him on a tree.<n id="2" />

And every day both in the temple courts<n id="1" /> and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the good news<n id="2" /> that Jesus was the Christ.<n id="3" />p>

and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues,<n id="1" /> saying, &#8220;This man is the Son of God.&#8221;<n id="2" />

They replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Believe<n id="2" /> in the Lord Jesus<n id="3" /> and you will be saved, you and your household.&#8221;

for he refuted the Jews vigorously<n id="1" /> in public debate,<n id="2" /> demonstrating from the scriptures that the Christ<n id="3" /> was Jesus.<n id="4" />p>

testifying<n id="1" /> to both Jews and Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus.<n id="2" />

Or do you not know that as many as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to arouse its desires.<n id="1" />p>
