&#8220;<b><i>Blessed is the kingi>b><n id="1" /> <b><i>who comes in the name of the Lord!i>b><n id="2" /> Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!&#8221;

All things have been given to me by my Father.<n id="1" /> No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides<n id="2" /> to reveal him.&#8221;p>

Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this,<n id="1" /> he said to himself, &#8220;If this man were a prophet,<n id="2" /> he would know who and what kind of woman<n id="3" /> this is who is touching him, that she is a sinner.&#8221;

Then<n id="1" /> Jesus asked,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Who was it who touched me?&#8221; When they all denied it, Peter<n id="3" /> said, &#8220;Master, the crowds are surrounding you and pressing<n id="4" /> against you!&#8221;

Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy,<n id="1" /> your whole body is full of light, but when it is diseased,<n id="2" /> your body is full of darkness.

The slave replied,<n id="1" /> &#8216;Your brother has returned, and your father has killed the fattened calf<n id="2" /> because he got his son<n id="3" /> back safe and sound.&#8217;

The Pharisee stood and prayed about himself like this:<n id="1" /> &#8216;God, I thank<n id="2" /> you that I am not like other people:<n id="3" /> extortionists,<n id="4" /> unrighteous people,<n id="5" /> adulterers &#8211; or even like this tax collector.<n id="6" />

The people also stood there watching, but the rulers ridiculed<n id="1" /> him, saying, &#8220;He saved others. Let him save<n id="2" /> himself if<n id="3" /> he is the Christ<n id="4" /> of God, his chosen one!&#8221;

John<n id="1" /> answered them,<n id="2" /> &#8220;The person who has two tunics<n id="3" /> must share with the person who has none, and the person who has food must do likewise.&#8221;

So<n id="1" /> Jesus said to them, &#8220;You cannot make the wedding guests<n id="2" /> fast while the bridegroom<n id="3" /> is with them, can you?<n id="4" />

Jesus<n id="1" /> answered them,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Haven&#8217;t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry &#8211;

So<n id="1" /> Jesus answered him,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Simon, I have something to say to you.&#8221; He replied,<n id="3" /> &#8220;Say it, Teacher.&#8221;

For nothing is hidden<n id="1" /> that will not be revealed,<n id="2" /> and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.

Jesus then<n id="1" /> asked him, &#8220;What is your name?&#8221; He<n id="2" /> said, &#8220;Legion,&#8221;<n id="3" /> because many demons had entered him.

Then<n id="1" /> a voice came from the cloud, saying, &#8220;This is my Son, my Chosen One.<n id="2" /> Listen to him!&#8221;<n id="3" />

For just as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh,<n id="1" /> so the Son of Man will be a sign<n id="2" /> to this generation.<n id="3" />

That<n id="1" /> servant who knew his master&#8217;s will but did not get ready or do what his master asked<n id="2" /> will receive a severe beating.

So<n id="1" /> the master said to his<n id="2" /> slave, &#8216;Go out to the highways<n id="3" /> and country roads<n id="4" /> and urge<n id="5" /> people<n id="6" /> to come in, so that my house will be filled.<n id="7" />

The<n id="1" /> younger of them said to his<n id="2" /> father, &#8216;Father, give me the share of the estate<n id="3" /> that will belong<n id="4" /> to me.&#8217; So<n id="5" /> he divided his<n id="6" /> assets between them.<n id="7" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Now his older son was in the field. As<n id="1" /> he came and approached the house, he heard music<n id="2" /> and dancing.
