<t /><p class="bodytext">Nevertheless,<n id="1" /> as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each person, so must he live. I give this sort of direction in all the churches.

For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave is the Lord&#8217;s freedman. In the same way, the one who was called as a free person is Christ&#8217;s slave.

Or is he not surely speaking for our benefit? It was written for us, because the one plowing and threshing ought to work in hope of enjoying the harvest.

The one who is spiritual discerns<n id="1" /> all things, yet he himself is understood<n id="2" /> by no one.

I planted,<n id="1" /> Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow.

If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward.

But the one united with<n id="1" /> the Lord is one spirit with him.<n id="2" />

But a married man is concerned about the things of the world, how to please his wife,

Am I saying these things only on the basis of common sense,<n id="1" /> or does the law not say this as well?

So let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall.

I am speaking to thoughtful people. Consider what I say.

But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening,<n id="1" /> encouragement, and consolation.

For you are certainly giving thanks well, but the other person is not strengthened.

And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.
