because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water, <i>and God will wipe away every tear from their eyesi>.&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

When<n id="1" /> they have completed their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will make war on them and conquer<n id="2" /> them and kill them.

He<n id="1" /> exercised all the ruling authority<n id="2" /> of the first beast on his behalf,<n id="3" /> and made the earth and those who inhabit it worship the first beast, the one whose lethal wound had been healed.

Thus no one was allowed to buy<n id="1" /> or sell things<n id="2" /> unless he bore<n id="3" /> the mark of the beast &#8211; that is, his name or his number.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I saw one angel standing in<n id="2" /> the sun, and he shouted in a loud voice to all the birds flying high in the sky:<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;Come, gather around for the great banquet<n id="4" /> of God,p>

So<n id="1" /> I began weeping bitterly<n id="2" /> because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.

He is dressed in clothing dipped<n id="1" /> in blood, and he is called<n id="2" /> the Word of God.

He has a name written on his clothing and on his thigh: &#8220;King of kings and Lord of lords.&#8221;p>

He also measured its wall, one hundred forty-four cubits<n id="1" /> according to human measurement, which is also the angel&#8217;s.<n id="2" />

Another<n id="1" /> angel holding<n id="2" /> a golden censer<n id="3" /> came and was stationed<n id="4" /> at the altar. A<n id="5" /> large amount of incense was given to him to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar that is before the throne.

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I saw thrones and seated on them were those who had been given authority to judge.<n id="2" /> I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. These<n id="3" /> had not worshiped the beast or his image and had refused to receive his mark on their forehead or hand. They<n id="4" /> came to life<n id="5" /> and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

and has appointed<n id="1" /> us as a kingdom,<n id="2" /> as priests<n id="3" /> serving his God and Father &#8211; to him be the glory and the power for ever and ever!<n id="4" /> Amen.p>

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers<n id="1" /> will in no way be harmed by the second death.&#8217;p>

And I saw a powerful angel proclaiming in a loud voice: &#8220;Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?&#8221;

But<n id="1" /> no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look into it.

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> the second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain of burning fire was thrown into the sea. A<n id="2" /> third of the sea became blood,

Then<n id="1" /> the four angels who had been prepared for this<n id="2" /> hour, day,<n id="3" /> month, and year were set free to kill<n id="4" /> a third of humanity.
